I'd sooner believe in dimensional aliens who view our universe in block fashion and they're playing a civilization game in which they make tweaks to the past to see the changes in the future.

I actually think we do have to step over the line in the most minimal sense possible....to cure the existential crisis....cleansed of particularity...universality is the safe affirmation.....
